2013 Block Party

The 25th Anniversary Edition of the Liberty Savings Bank Block Party Celebrates a long Saint Cloud area tradition. For the last 25 years Liberty Savings Bank has created, funded, and produced this classic family event.

This 2013 edition will feature at least two dozen food vendors serving an amazing variety of cuisine. There will be 20 different booths offering a variety of kids activities. As usual, all of these activities and the concert are free to the public. We also continue a proud tradition of providing a family atmosphere that is alcohol free.

Entertainment for the 25th anniversary edition of the Liberty Block Party promises a lot of excitement. Perennial Block Party openers “The Rockin’ Hollywoods” will start the night off with their amazing blend of music from the 50’s through the 80’s. Local act Slip Twister will follow. This incredibly talented trio presents a variety of great music.

Headlining the Block Party will be Sawyer Brown. This country music favorite has been entertaining the public since the early 80’s when they were the first winners of “Star Search”. They have gone on to score 21 top ten hits in their long career including three number one singles: “Step that Step”, “Some Girls Do”, and “Thank God For You”. The band is well known for the high energy level of their shows and we can’t think of a more fun way to cap off 25 great years.
